Small in size but mighty in taste, this egg bite recipe is packed full of delicious flavors!  Featuring Farmers Hen House eggs, bacon, red pepper, mushrooms, green onions, Everything Bagel seasoning, and puff pastry, these supreme egg bites will be a hit at any event with guests of all ages!


3 Farmers Hen House eggs

1/2 cup of milk

1/2 cup each of diced mushrooms and red bell pepper

1/4 cup diced green onion

4 slices of cooked bacon, diced

1 box of frozen puffed pastry dough

1/2 cup of shredded swish cheese

2-3 tbsp of Everything Bagel Seasoning

Salt and Pepper


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2

Spray 24 miniature muffin cups with non-stick cooking spray.  Allow pastry crust to thaw (15-20 minutes out of freezer).

Step 3

Open and unfold puffed pastry crust crust, and press out any fold lines. With a 2 and ½ inch floured biscuit cutter, cut 24 rounds.  In the prepared mini muffin cups, press 1 round of pie crust into the bottom and up the sides of the cup.

Step 4

In a 4-cup measuring cup, combine the eggs, milk, and a big pinch of salt and pepper salt.  Whisk well.   Set aside.

Step 5

Sprinkle Everything Bagel seasoning into each muffin cup.

Step 6

Evenly divide cheese , bacon, mushrooms, peppers and green onions between muffin cups.

Step 7

Slowly fill each cup with egg mixture.

Step 8

Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until pastry is browned and eggs are set.
