Tis the season for many things, including deviled eggs!  These deviled eggs using our organic free-range eggs (although you could use any) bring the green of the holiday season together with the green and spice of warmer spring days ahead to make an absolutely delectable, savory, and spicy bite!  These deviled eggs are sure to be a hit with your guests this holiday season!  This recipe is both gluten-free and keto friendly!

Ingredients

12 Farmers Hen House eggs

1 ripe avocado

Juice of one lime

3 tbsp. of sour cream

One jalapeno seeded and cut into thin strips

2 tbsp of chopped cilantro + 24 cilantro leaves for serving

Kosher salt

Cayenne pepper for serving

Tortilla chip pieces for serving

4 oz of queso blanco for serving

Directions

Step 1

Cut boiled eggs length wise, and remove yolks.

Step 2

Using a food processor or blender, blend together egg yolks, avocado, sour cream, lime, 1/4 of the jalapeno, 2 tbsp of cilantro, and 1 tsp. of salt. Blend until smooth, taste, and adjust for seasoning.

Step 3

Put mixture in a plastic ziploc bag. Snip the end of the bad, and pipe mixture into each egg white.

Step 4

Add a small piece of tortilla chip, 1/2 strip of jalapeno, a dusting of cayenne pepper, and a sprinkle of queso blanco to each egg.
