Bring the nutrition, taste, and ease of homemade protein bars (RX Bars) to your kitchen!  Our high quality organic egg whites set these homemade RX Bars apart, in addition to the sweet natural ingredients including dates, oats, roasted peanuts, chocolate chips, and peanut butter powder.  These protein bars are great for the family on the go, as well as after-school and/or pre and post workout snacks!

Ingredients

Protein RX Bar ingredients

12 Farmers Hen House Egg Whites

8 large pitted dates

1 cup of salted or unsalted peanuts (your preference)

1/4 cup chocolate chips

1/4 cup oats

1 tbsp peanut butter protein powder (optional)

1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300°.

Step 2

Pulse nuts & dates in food processor until finely ground.

Step 3

Transfer to a bowl and mix in all other ingredients except egg whites.

Step 4

Beat in egg whites until thoroughly combined and glossy.

Step 5

Pour into an 8×8 baking dish lined with parchment paper.

Step 6

Bake at 300° for 45 minutes, until center is set and top is not shiny.

Step 7

Use the parchment paper to remove the bars from the baking dish. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.

Step 8

Cut bars. Leave bars out to dry for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Step 9

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
